Title: (Perspective of Kindergarten Teachers: Using outdoor activities to support childrens’ learning of academic skills)

My question will be:

1– How do kindergarten teachers perceive outdoor activities in relation to young children learning academic skills?

Academic Skills I mean (literacy and numeracy) and the method I will use qualitative by Survey.

Brief description

In this assignment you are required to undertake an initial literature search and critical review. The main aim of this literature search and critical review is to help you become more familiar with an area of research and to develop and justify possible research questions, problems or issues that you hope to research.

The assignment requires you to:

outline relevant context and background to your research interests

locate and critically review a relevant body of academic research and scholarship

develop and justify a possible set of researchable questions, problems or issues appropriate for a small-scale education research project and consider the implications for small-scale research design (or how you will carry out a project to answer the research questions)

briefly outline a framework/plan for an extended critical review of research literature based on your possible/proposed research questions, problems or issues.

This Assignment will form the basis of a literature review that can be used for your final project.

Word Count Equivalent: 4000 words

We have to use around 20 references (Use recent references where possible i.e. within the last 5-7 years). I have attached some references

There are two tables to be used

1- you will use 10 of literature review it in table (1).

2- At the end of the assignment after the references, you have to add Appendix by more information related to table one.

Organize your research studies by recording and summarising them using a table focusing on different aspects of research (please see file named Tables for Literature Details).

Develop a critical analysis and evaluation of the reviewed studies in the table, and other appropriate research, by discussing its strengths and limitations, its usefulness for your study, comparing and contrasting the research, looking for connections between different areas of research etc

Suggestions for assignment one

Identify an initial, broad research topic, area, or problem and develop a set of key terms which you can use in database searches.

Some of the research you locate should be empirical studies in which authors report and interpret ‘data’. Aim to locate studies across a range of contexts, approaches and methods as appropriate to your research. Conceptual works and literature reviews can be helpful too.

Organise and analyse your research studies by recording and summarising them using a table focusing on different aspects of research (I attached the table).

Develop a critical analysis and evaluation of the studies in your table by comparing, contrasting and analysing the research. Here you should include works not included/recorded in the table but which are relevant.

Based on your analysis, develop possible research questions, problems or issues and justify these based on your reading and analysis of the research.

Consider how you might design a possible research project based on your proposed research questions, problems or issues (eg How might a project be done? What approach might be most appropriate?).

Outline additional key readings, topics and research areas that you feel should be included in an extended critical literature review based on the research you’ve examined and on any proposed research questions, problems or issues you’ve proposed.
