In the story, Rowing The Bus, pp. 163-167, Logan provides many vivid descriptions of incidents in which bullies attack other students. Reread those descriptions and consider what they teach you about the nature of bullies and bullying. Then, write a  essay that supports the following main idea (use this main idea as your thesis statement in your essay): Evidence in “Rowing the Bus” suggests that most bullies share certain characteristics. Mention two or three such characteristics, and provide evidence from the essay that illustrates how they are present in acts of bullying. In your concluding paragraph, write about what these characteristics tell us about bullies. Your essay must have a clear point and told from the first person point-of-view (singular: I, me, my, mine and myself. plural: We, us, our,and ourselves.) The essay must include the following parts: Five paragraphs – introduction (hook statement – 1st sentence and thesis statement – last sentence), three body paragraphs (topic sentence for each paragraph – 1st sentence), and conclusion (restate thesis and hook statement). Each paragraph consists of 5 -7 complete sentences. Use time order / sequence transitions to connect your thoughts and ideas . See p. 270 in the textbook for the transition chart
